After the Electronic
Transactions Ordinance come into operation
since 7 April 2000, all Government bureaux and departments
are obliged to accept electronic records and electronic signatures
for submissions that are required under the law, unless an
exemption is in place for the particular legislative provision
involved.
You may make reference to the Central
Register in "Digital
21" web site to check for the format, manner and procedure
for making electronic submission to the Government under Law
and the designated Government email addresses for receiving
electronic submissions.
