2007 "Hong Kong Health Check" FIVB World Grand Prix

The FIVB World Grand Prix which is one of the Federation Internationale de Volleyball sanctioned major tournaments for women volleyball, has been held in Hong Kong since 1993. The 2007 "Hong Kong Health Check" FIVB World Grand Prix (the 2007 Grand Prix) was held from 10 to 12 August 2007 at the Hong Kong Coliseum. It brought matches among top teams from China, Dominican Republic, Italy and Poland to Hong Kong. Also, this is the first time for the event to be awarded "M" Mark status by the Major Sports Events Committee under the Sports Commission.

After six masterly competitions in three consecutive days, championship of the 2007 Grand Prix went to Poland. The first runner-up, second runner-up and third runner-up of this leg were Italy, China and Dominican Republic respectively.

Top volleyball athletes from different countries joined this "M" Mark event   The Tour was among one of the events to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
