Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Squash Open 2007

The Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Squash Open 2007 (the Squash Open), organised by the Hong Kong Squash, was successfully held from 5 to 11 November 2007 at the Hong Kong Squash Centre and the Plaza Hollywood. Over 100 world-class players from 20 countries/regions joined the Squash Open this year. Same as last year, the final matches were held at the clear-view all-glass portable squash court at the Stars Atrium of Plaza Hollywood to facilitate more spectators to watch the world's best players in action. This is the second year the Squash Open to be awarded the "M" Mark status by the Major Sports Events Committee under the Sports Commission.

After 5-day thrilling events, 2007 men's and women's world-ranking number one players, Amr Shabana of Egypt and Nicol David of Malaysia, won the titles of Men's and Women's Open Championships respectively.
