Recruitment of Volunteers for the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games

Applications for volunteers to the 2008 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games closed on 31 March.

The recruitment of volunteers in Hong Kong, including the sending of time notices for recruitment, for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has been completed by Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) in early August. Applicants who have so far not received any time notice from BOCOG through the Home Affairs Bureau may consider their applications not successful. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the applicants for their interest in serving as volunteers and trust they will continue to support the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

For those who have applied to serve in the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, the result of the recruitment of volunteers has yet to be announced by BOCOG The Home Affairs Bureau will provide the details to successful applicants as soon as possible.
